100+ apps, used while the caller is still talking

Kupe Team · July 28, 2026

The job is not to chat. The job is to check the slot, file the ticket, take the payment, update the CRM, and only then say goodbye. If those tools run after hangup, you built a summarizer, not an agent.

Kupe agents call the stack you already pay for — Salesforce, HubSpot, Zendesk, Slack, Stripe, Shopify, and a long tail via webhooks. They do it on the call, not in a batch job at 2am. The customer is still there. That is the point.

Latency is the constraint. A slow CRM round-trip is fine if the customer hears a person thinking. It is not fine if the line dies. That is why we obsess over turn time and presence, not over adding another logo to a slide.

Pick the three tools that actually close the loop in your operation. Wire those first. The other ninety-seven can wait. Logo walls impress procurement. Connected tools impress the night shift.

A collections agent that cannot see the ledger will invent a balance. A clinic agent that cannot see the calendar will double-book. A recovery agent that cannot see the order will offer the wrong SKU. Tools are not a roadmap item. They are the product.

We meet teams who have “integrations” meaning a nightly CSV. That is not an integration. That is a delay. Voice does not wait for nightly. Voice waits about four hundred milliseconds, and then the customer is gone.

Connect Salesforce so the agent knows who is calling. Connect the calendar so it can book. Connect Slack so a human can take over without a story so far. That triangle covers most businesses. Add Stripe when money needs to move. Add WhatsApp when the same person texts back later.

Permissions matter. The agent should only do what a well-trained human on that desk is allowed to do. Read the balance. Take a promise. Do not waive a fee because a prompt got creative. Guardrails are product, not a footnote.

When a tool fails, say so. “I’m checking that now” is honest. Silence is not. A wrong number delivered confidently is worse than a slow correct one. Design the failure, not just the happy path.

If you are scoring vendors, ignore the logo cloud. Ask them to hit your actual CRM on a live call, in your language, with an interruption in the middle. That test ends most conversations. It starts the useful ones.

We will help you wire the first three. After that the hub is enough. The agent should feel like it works here — in your stack — not in a demo org with fake contacts named Jane.
