Kupe AI Inc. (“us”, “we”, or “our”) operates https://kupe.in (hereinafter referred to as “Service”).
Our Privacy Policy governs your visit to https://kupe.in, and explains how we collect, safeguard and disclose information that results from your use of our Service.

Our Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern all use of our Service and together with the Privacy Policy constitutes your agreement with us (“agreement”).

4. Platform Data
Kupe AI is a voice AI platform that facilitates conversations with voicebots. To enable our service, we process and store certain information related to the calls, assistants, credentials and phone numbers as outlined below. We act as a data processor on behalf of our customers.
1. Assistants
When customers create AI assistants using our platform, we store the configuration settings, prompts, and any training data or templates used to build the assistant's conversational abilities.
2. Calls
To provide the voice AI service, we process call audio in real-time to convert speech to text, apply natural language understanding and generate responses. Call data we collect includes:
- Call parties: Phone numbers or IPs of the parties on the call
- Call metadata: Start and end times, call duration, call status (answered, busy, failed etc.).
- Call media: Recordings of the call audio, if enabled by the customer
- Call transcripts: Speech-to-text transcriptions of the call audio
- Call logs: Details on the conversation flow, AI responses and outcomes
3. Credentials
To connect with third-party services and providers that enable our voice AI functionality, we securely store necessary credentials, such as API keys, access tokens, and webhook URLs.
4. Phone Numbers
To provide inbound and outbound calling capabilities, we provision and store phone numbers that are assigned to our customers.
5. Use of Data
Kupe AI Inc. uses the collected data for various purposes:
- to provide and maintain our Service;
- to notify you about changes to our Service;
- to allow you to participate in interactive features of our Service when you choose to do so;
- to provide customer support;
- to gather analysis or valuable information so that we can improve our Service;
- to monitor the usage of our Service;
- to detect, prevent, and address technical issues;
- to fulfill any other purpose for which you provide it;
6. Google Workspace API Usage
Our application does not use any data obtained through Google Workspace APIs to develop, improve, or train generalized AI and/or ML models. All data is used solely to provide and enhance the specific services for which it was collected.
7. Retention of Data
We will retain your Personal Data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. We will retain and use your Personal Data to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations (for example, if we are required to retain your data to comply with applicable laws), resolve disputes, and enforce our legal agreements and policies.
We will also retain Usage Data for internal analysis purposes. Usage Data is generally retained for a shorter period, except when this data is used to strengthen the security or to improve the functionality of our Service, or we are legally obligated to retain this data for longer time periods.
8. Transfer of Data
Your information, including Personal Data, may be transferred to – and maintained on – computers located outside of your state, province, country, or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ from those of your jurisdiction.
If you are located outside India/the United States and choose to provide information to us, please note that we transfer the data, including Personal Data, to India/the United States and process it there.
Your consent to this Privacy Policy followed by your submission of such information represents your agreement to that transfer.

We may disclose personal information that we collect, or you provide:
Disclosure for Law Enforcement
Under certain circumstances, we may be required to disclose your Personal Data if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities.
Business Transaction
If we or our subsidiaries are involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your Personal Data may be transferred.
10. Security of Data
The security of your data is important to us but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

12. Your Data Protection Rights under California Privacy Laws
According to CalOPPA and CCPA, users can visit our site anonymously; users will be notified of any privacy policy changes on our Privacy Policy Page; users are able to change their personal information by emailing us at support@kupe.in.
Our Policy on “Do Not Track” Signals:
We honor Do Not Track signals and do not track, plant cookies, or use advertising when a Do Not Track browser mechanism is in place.
If you are a California resident, you are entitled to learn what data we collect about you, ask to delete your data and not to sell (share) it. To exercise your data protection rights, you can make certain requests by emailing support@kupe.in.
13. Service Providers
We may employ third party companies and individuals to facilitate our Service (“Service Providers”), provide Service on our behalf, perform Service-related services or assist us in analysing how our Service is used.
These third parties have access to your Personal Data only to perform these tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.
Analytics & CI/CD & Payments
We may use third-party Service Providers to monitor and analyze the use of our Service (e.g., Google Analytics, Cloudflare Analytics, PostHog), for development processes (e.g., GitHub), or for payment processing (e.g., Stripe).

Our Service may contain links to other sites that are not operated by us. If you click a third party link, you will be directed to that third party's site. We strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy of every site you visit.
15. Children's Privacy
Our Services are not intended for use by children under the age of 13 (“Children”). We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from Children under 13.
